Fibre Extender – DVI/VGA, USB HID

Now you can have KVM control with flexible video inputs wherever you need it! The DVI/VGA KVM Extenders allow you to extend DVI-D or VGA video as well as USB keyboard and mouse without losses

Distances
Our extenders transmit up to 800 metres over 50/125µm cable or 400 metres over 62.5/125µm cable, and using single-mode cables our extender sends crisp, clear, high-resolution video up to 10 kilometres away!

Excellent Video Quality - DVI and VGA
Thanks to the digit al transmission of the video signal without any losses in the quality, images are as sharp as if they were directly attached to the workstations. The new video compression algorithms also support 24-bit colour depth for smooth colour gradients up to DVI resolutions of 1920 x 1200 at 60Hz over the full distance. For compatibility, a refresh rate of 60Hz is also required for VGA.

Local Monitoring
The integrated loop-circuit enables you to attach a second monitor near the PC. If you want to connect also a local keyboard and mouse your O/S must support multiple USB keyboards and mice.

USB HID
The DVI-D KVM Extenders support the USB HID interface to extend standard USB keyboard and mouse as well as some other USB HID based peripherals like touch screens.

19" Rack Mounting
These extenders are also ideal for 19" rack mounting. The optional rack mount kit (ACS2009A-RMK) takes up to 4 transmitters in only 1U. Instead of powering each unit separately, you may also use three units plus the power supply ACS2009A-PS.
