The OS1/OS2 9/125 cable is the highest performance fibre cable used for long distances. This cable is extensively used in Telecommunications and in campus applications for Lans and Wans. Tight Buffer cables are ideal for internal applications and Loose Tube cables can be used for Internal/External applications as the fibres are protected by a water repellent gel (Thixotropic Gel). Both cables also contain Water swelling E-Glass yarn for moisture protection.
