DCX KVM Extenderkit – DVI, USB HID, audio

The DCX3000 Extender is a high performance KVM extender that enables you to locate your critical computing hardware in a secure and temperature controlled environment away from the user work station while maintaining the same user desktop experience.
It can transmit Single Link DVI video up to 1920 x 1200 at 60Hz, USB HID and embedded audio over a single CATx cable up to 50 metres.

Zero Compression, Pixel Perfection
Unlike many other digital KVM extenders, the DCX3000 delivers every pixel of every video frame with zero compression and zero latency fulfilling the needs of even the most demanding graphical applications.

Single CATx cable

User Console
The user station (receiver) supports consoles with DVI-Displays. HDMI-connections are also possible using a corresponding DVI-to-HDMI-adapter. Four USB HID-ports and two 3.5mm audio jackets offer connections for a wide range of peripherals devices, while a locking power connection ensures a reliable operation.

Interface powered CPU Connection
The transmitter is designed as a compact Server Access Module (SAM) that requires zero space. Moreover there is no need for a power supply or power cord connection as the SAM is fully powered through the USB Interface. Especially high-density installations will benefit from these advantages.

Plug and play
This extender solution is plug-and-play. There is no need for drivers or software to be installed.

Scalable into a KVM Matrix solution
This KVM extender is part of the digital DCX3000 KVM Switching solution. Start with a direct CATx point-to-point extension. If your requirements raise, simply connect the SAMs and user stations to the DCX3000 switch. The DCX3000 is a cost effective 30-port high performance KVM matrix switch designed for small and medium sized applications where fast and reliable switching of digital HD video, audio and USB is essential.
